DDGS (Distiller's Dried Grain Soluble) is a major by-product of the ENA production process and has high nutrient feed value, suitable for the livestock industry. When ENA plants produce ENA, they use starch only from input grains like rice, corn, millets or wheat. After starch extraction, the byproduct contains – protein, fibre, oil and essential amino acids suitable for cattle feed, food for poultry, fish and Swan. It can be stored for a particular period without bacterial spoilage.
The system converts wet cake from decanter and concentrated syrup from evaporators to dry and make DDGS. This dryer makes the grain based distillery plant as complete zero effluent discharge plant. Forced circulation body with variable speed control ensures very less steam consumption as compared to other dryers.
