Boudh’s leading industry Boudh distillery has sent ethanol to IOCL, Jharsuguda from its plant. By providing ethanol to IOCL for gasoline blending, the company has done positives for both Environmental and economic, making it the first in the state. It was sent after the flags being waived by Prem Kumar Kanojia, Chief Operating Officer of BDPL along with the presence of Unit head Sanjay Rathi, and Quality officer Sharat CS. BDPL on its first supply has sent 25 thousand litres of ethanol to IOCL. Initially, the company has operating capacity was 15,000 liters per day, but it is expected to increase from 40,000 to 60,000 liters per day.

Synopsis: Boudh Distillery in a bid to raise the spirits of young minds, distributed scholarship to top three rank holders of 10th board of Harabhanga Block under its flagship scholarship program "BDPL Vidwaan". Attending the scholarship programme at BDPL plant premises, District Collector & Magistrate, Lalatendu Mishra as chief guest, Superintendent Police, Raghunath Rao as Guest of Honour gave away the scholarships in the presence of company Chairman, Uday Shankar Prasad, Director, Raju Prasad and Chief Executive Officer, Prem Kumar Kanojia.

The demand for sanitizer in the market has increased due to the infection. As per the request of the district administration, 20000 litres sanitizer has been given to the collector from the Boudh Multi Spirit Company BDPL. It has been reported that the price of these 20000 litres sanitizer will be ₹ 10000000 in the market. The District Collector Lalatendu Mishra has said that this sanitizer will be used in every hospital in the district as well as in the Quarantine Center if needed.

To remove impurities contained in water, the Boudh Distillery, located in Rambhikata of Boudh District has installed a Solar RO Water Purifier at Manipur Adarsh School which is in Harabhaga block. The District Education Officer, Gendra Kujjur inaugurated the purifier in the presence of Manipur Adarsha School Principal, Harekrishna Behera, Parents Association President, Swadhin kumar Biswal, PTA Member Manas Purohit, BDPL Manegment Member Raju Prasad, HR Head Manager of BDPL, Ashok Das.

Aiming towards the development of Boudh District and to be the part it, the Boudh district's first Industry, named Boudh Distillery Pvt. Ltd which carried out lot of development activity before such as distribution of school bags, installation of RO water purifiers in school for the students, this year come up with the new step by announcing the Scholarship for the Matric toppers. A token amount Rs. 10000/-, 8000/- and 5000/- are going to be conferred as scholarship to three toppers of Harabhanga Block students who are appearing in the Matriculation exams.

Boudh Distillery Pvt. Ltd (BDPL) under it's CSR activity Day distributed school bags among children of 8 schools under Harabhanga block on the occasion of Independence day gave away school bags to around 800 children of schools including Sampoch School, Barajhuli School, Bharatapur School, Balarampur School, Harekrushnapur School, Rambhikata School, Titrikata School and Shyamsundarpur School.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today under the project of 'Make in Odisha' inaugurated the State's first grain based distillery plant at Harabhanga block of the District. Spread over 35 acres of land, the project includes a 2X60 kilo litres per day (KLPD) Extra Neutral Alcohol production capacity and 2x2.5 megawatt captive power plant which would help in economic development by providing direct and indirect job opportunities in Boudh.

In a bid to fight back chronic jaundice and other drinking water borne diseases in Boudh District, Boudh Distillery Pvt. Ltd. (BDPL) as part of its drinking water facilitation campaign has donated an advanced RO water purifier to the Community Health Centre at Puruna Cuttack.

Boudh Distillery Pvt. Ltd. (BDPL) organized a one-day free Health Camp in support of Care Hospital at Jagannath Road Shyamsundarpur. Additional District Medical Officer (ADMO) Kishor Kumar Pattnaik inaugurated the Health Camp in the presence of BDPL officials COO of BDPL, Prem kumar Kanojia and Manager, HR of BDPL Ashok Dash. 450 people from Sampoch Panchayat including 12 villages namely Syamsundarpur, Barajhuli, Bharatapur, Sampoch, Fakirpur, Bhubaneswar, Dimirijhuli, Harakrushnapur, Bishnupur, Titrikata, Chandipur and Rambhikata availed health services at the daylong Health Camp.
