Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The role will be responsible to work as a member of the Mechanical Maintenance team, including contributing to a positive team environment and supporting the training and development of apprentices.
  1. Responsible for Preventative maintenance of plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and manuals with a focus on maintaining safety and maximizing production:

    • Plan, schedule and organize own work within the requirements of the work plan, and coordinate with other parties as required
    • Complete tasks assigned on the basis of priority
    • Ensure assigned trades work is completed safely and in accordance with quality requirements, company policy and all statutory requirements

  • Responsible for the Fermentation process of taking the Wash (Distillation) prepared during the Alcoholic Fermentation which leads to a fermented Wash with high alcoholic content. The fermentation tank is cleaned, steamed and kept ready.
  • Responsible to add the Enzymes, Urea, magnesium, booster (FE enhancer etc.), relevant dosage is considered for the completion of the fermentation process every 4 times for 1 full fermentation process.
  • Responsible to ensure that the Fermentation is run in continuous mode, or in discontinuous mode when temperature of cooling water is critical. According to raw materials, a recycling of yeasts is carried out in order to reduce Fermentation duration.
